Like other Matag Jet Clean Plus models, this is a good dishwasher with a badly designed control panel. If it is installed under a counter (the way it would be in most kitchens), moisture that accumulates on the control panel will cause it to stop working after about a 12-18 months. This has now happened to our model TWICE (as well as to other reviewers here.) So, one is either forced to buy the extended warranty or to pay expensive repair bills. Either way, you can expect this product to break down. It is not reliable.
